Q:  Can I bring my dog to the Chilly Challenge?
A:  Sorry, no dogs allowed! 

Q:  Can we bring a stroller to the Chilly Challenge?
A:  Strollers are welcomed.

Q: What's up with the parking? 
A: We have designated parking in several areas. Please use the lot behind the school where the buses park first. Turn onto Old Buncombe School Rd., pass the tennis courts, and a parking attendant will direct you into a spot. Once that lot is full, overflow parking is available next to the tennis courts and along the side of North Buncombe School Rd.

Q: What are the cancellation policies?
A: The Chilly Challenge is a rain or shine race. In the event that there is a serious snowstorm or other unforeseen, extreme weather event, the Chilly Challenge will convert to a virtual race.

Q: Are there refunds in the event of a cancellation?
A: No refunds will be issued in the event of a cancellation. Please know that your donation greatly benefits the school.

Q: Can I dress up?
A: Yes! We encourage fun costumes whether they're Blackhawk based, chili themed or just fun attire! There are two awards for individual with the most spirit and the team with the most spirit.

Q: Is this a certified course?
A: No.

Q: Can I just come and eat chili?
A: Yes! Chili will be available for a $5 donation. Come join us!
